We are looking for a Vancouver-based Senior HR Consultant to join our team. At Humani, our hybrid work model means working primarily remotely, with onsite support at various client sites based on business needs. As such, local and international travel may be required from time to time.
What You Will Do
Client Management:
- Act as the go-to Senior HR Consultant for multiple clients, addressing a wide range of HR and organizational-related needs, while providing direction and oversight to ensure high quality, timely outcomes.
- Lead meetings with leaders/executives to surface critical insights, diagnose organizational challenges, and develop structured HR roadmaps that drive actionable solutions.
- Manage project plans, including management and oversight of the project stakeholders, budget and change management activities.
- Keep up to date with current compliance developments and trends in human capital consulting and overall HR practices.
- Review HR software and processes and spearhead implementation when necessary.
- On-site HR Support: Support clients with the above-mentioned activities or any other support required in person, such as attending team meetings, delivering workshops, culture activities, etc.
- Developing, reviewing, and applying appropriate legislative required HR policies and procedures where necessary.
- Reviewing and/or developing performance management processes in line with current best practices.
- Managing employee relations issues as they arise.
- Providing coaching and mentorship to all levels of leadership, management, & employees.
- Creating and facilitating HR related training sessions.
- Attending virtual meetings with the client’s executives and employees.
- Acting as the lead relationship manager between Humani and our client’s C-Suite.
- Effectively delegate work assignments with clarity and precision to Humani team members including Human Resources Generalists and other Business Partners and ensure that all deliverables to your assigned clients meet Humani’s standard of excellence.
Your Skill Set
- A True Passion for Human Resources and People Strategy: Experienced in designing and implementing organizational systems and frameworks from the ground up, while continuously scanning emerging trends and best practices to optimize workforce effectiveness and long-term organizational success!
- Client Relationship Management & Ownership: This role is responsible for owning client relationships, looking at the whole picture, and proactively leading a client's HR and organizational functions, bringing forward solutions to problems and managing client expectations.
- Self-Motivation and Self-Discipline: Ability to work independently and must be self-motivated to complete work promptly with minimal oversight in a timely manner.
- Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adapting your style to suit the audience and your environment with ease. You represent Humani to our clients with competent and professional customer service at all times.
- Attention to Data & Detail: Ability to analyze data and create client-ready deliverables (documents, PowerPoints, reports, etc.) with excellent attention to detail.
- Creativity & Problem Solving: We’re looking for outside-the-box thinkers! Our HR Consultants must have the ability to work through a problem with limited information and to take a problem or situation to the next steps.
- Technology and HR Software: Experience with multiple HR systems & programs including Microsoft Office, Google Drive and HRIS with a strong aptitude to assimilate to new technology.
- Project & Change Management: Deep expertise in project management and organizational change, leveraging structured methodologies to align stakeholders, enhance adoption, and delivering successful engagements.
Who You Are
- Minimum of 7-10 years of client-facing HR consulting experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of managing complex initiatives related to People & Culture strategy.
- A degree or diploma in HR or business.
- Strong business acumen and collaborative style to build relationships and quickly gain credibility with key stakeholders across various clients and teams.
- Self-starter with commitment to excellence and strong project management skills; precise attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills.
- Experience building HR systems and processes from scratch.
- Fast learner, high output and high quality of work.
- Proven relationship management experience – with the ability to understand client priorities, identify emerging needs and expand opportunities within existing client partnerships.
- Up to date on HR best practices and current market trends.
- Change Management experience is a plus.
- Prior people leadership skills or experience delegating work to others is required.
- Proactively identifies opportunity and proposes and implements solutions.

- Base salary $95,000-$115,000 with potential to earn up to 20+% of base salary through our annual performance-based bonus program (total compensation $104,500 - $138,000+)

Compensation
$95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
